Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A superstar who crossed over completely from the world of country music to pop culture, turning into a pop icon that will last forever and conquering all of the world. Swift has thrown off her country roots as if she was shedding skins for second purposes, and has proven herself to be one of the smartest pop singer/songwriter within her generation. Swift is able to take the zeitgeist of today and make it her own. Swift's talents could be seen in her first tracks, including the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on her sophomore album Fearless which came out in 2008, Swift discovered the person she was and reach a wide audience. The album was hugely successful and not just in the US, where six of its singles were certified platinum on the back of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But the album also enjoyed a great reception across the globe. Swift took off to the peak of the charts when she released Speak Now. Her popularity only increased over her next three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014) as well as Reputation (2017) and Reputation in 2017 and saw her move confidently into a pop realm that she had already been a part of. Although she slowed down her approach with 2020's stripped-down siblings' folklore and Evermore she remained atop the pop world a position that she maintained through re-recordings from her back catalog along with Midnights which was her top-charting synthesizer 2022 set.
