Charissa Thompson
Thompson was fired by FOX Sports and began hosting on behalf of Versus Sports as well as Yahoo Sports. Thompson was the anchor of Versus' NHL studio coverage and recorded web videos on the popular Yahoo platform, leading the site's presence at high-profile events such as those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. She was a successful host on both shows, which resulted in her joining ESPN on August 11, 2011. In this role she hosted the newly created afternoon show "Numbers Never lie" which was a show on the network. She joined"SportsNation," the "SportsNation" channel in the month of July. It was extremely popular, which she continued to host until the end of May 2013 before returning to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is an avid sporting fan but proved her ability for her to transition into the entertainment industry. Thompson was hired to be a co-host for"Extra", a Hollywood newspaper "Extra" beginning in the month of June 2014 after several part-time jobs. While co-hosting was a producer in Universal Studios as well as host award shows, celebrity appearances and events regularly.
